We are looking for women and health professionals to interview who have experience of sharing breastmilk in Australia from 2011. This includes donating or seeking breastmilk through a milk bank, friends, the community, the internet or a breastfeeding arrangement.
We are also interested in speaking to midwives and lactation consultants who encounter milk sharing by the women in their care.
This research will help understand how different types of milk sharing contribute to infant feeding. The study is conducted by the Australian National University with approval from the Australian Breastfeeding Association.
